Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Bubbas mobile application, teambubbas.com, or related services (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Bubbas is a dog training application that provides training plans, educational content, household coordination, progress tracking, media features, and AI-assisted coaching for dog owners. Bubbas is launching iOS first; Android or other platforms may follow depending on launch status and platform availability.

3. Accounts

You may need an account to use parts of the Service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

• Bubbas may offer auto-renewing subscriptions, free trials, introductory offers, promotional access or other paid features. The current public products are a 7-day free trial, a $19.99/month plan, and a $99/year plan. Local price, renewal period, and included features are shown in the app or store checkout before purchase.
• If a free trial or introductory offer is shown, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription at the displayed price unless you cancel before the trial or introductory period ends.
• For Apple App Store purchases, payment is charged to your Apple Account. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account subscriptions or the subscription controls shown in the Bubbas app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless the platform states otherwise.
• We may change prices, features, or plans with notice where required. Platform rules may require you to approve certain price increases before they apply.

5. Refunds

Refunds for Apple App Store purchases are handled by Apple. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact [email protected] and we will help route the request.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service.
• Bypass security, payment, entitlement, rate-limit, or access controls.
• Upload content that violates law, infringes rights, or harms others.
• Use automated scraping, credential stuffing, or unauthorized bots.
• Share your account credentials or misrepresent your identity.

7. AI and Training Guidance

Bubbas uses AI-assisted features to provide training guidance, summaries, content, breed detection, reflections, and coaching. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your specific dog. Bubbas is educational and is not a substitute for a veterinarian, certified trainer, behavior consultant, or other qualified professional.

If your dog has aggression, severe fear, separation distress, injury, illness, or any safety risk, consult a qualified professional before relying on app guidance.

8. Household Sharing

The Service allows multiple users to share a household. Household members may be able to view shared dogs, plans, sessions, progress, media, memories, and AI coach context. By inviting someone to a household or accepting an invitation, you consent to sharing that household information with the household members.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of photos, videos, text, feedback, training wins, and other content you submit (“User Content”). You grant Bubbas a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, process, and modify User Content as needed to operate, improve, protect, and promote the Service, including public display of training wins you choose to submit or approve for public use.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit User Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights. We may remove User Content at any time.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account from within the app or request deletion through our account deletion page. Account deletion is permanent and removes account-associated personal data, subject to limited retention for legal, billing, fraud-prevention, security, and backup purposes. Deleting your Bubbas account does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store subscription; cancel through Apple subscriptions to stop future billing.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, design, training plans, text, graphics, logos, characters, and other content, is owned by Bubbas or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

12. Third-Party Services

The Service may depend on third-party platforms and services, including Apple, Google, Supabase, RevenueCat, PostHog, Sentry, Mux, and AI providers. Their terms and privacy policies may also apply to your use of those features.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or other users, or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not guarantee specific training results, uninterrupted availability, or that all guidance will be accurate or appropriate for your dog.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bubbas will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data loss, property damage, injury, or training outcomes arising from use of the Service.

16. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, except where applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to bring a claim in court or in small claims court. You and Bubbas agree not to bring disputes as a class action or representative proceeding.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws rules, except where applicable consumer protection laws require another law to apply.

18. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by email.
